Hello! I'm Sam, and I'm passionately dedicated to serving the least of them in our communities. My journey into this mission began with a deep-seated belief in the power of compassion and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those who are often overlooked or marginalized.
I firmly believe that every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their circumstances. This belief has been the driving force behind my commitment to serving the least fortunate among us. Whether it's providing a warm meal to someone experiencing homelessness, volunteering at local shelters, or advocating for policies that address the root causes of social inequalities, I have always strived to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
My passion for serving the least of them has led me to work closely with various community organizations, non-profits. Through these collaborations, I've gained valuable insights and experiences that have deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations and the ways in which we can collectively work towards solutions.

Hello! My name is Wendy. My role at the Fresh Start Shower Ministry is to connect our guests with the vital community resources that so many of our local organizations offer. My background includes numerous years working in social services and the criminal justice system which bolstered my drive to be of service to others. I have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a substance abuse counseling certificate.
I want to serve our guests with compassionate acceptance and love and to care for them abundantly. I want our guests to know that they are seen, heard and that they matter. To me it does not matter what their past is, what matters is how I can help them with their future. My goal in my daily interactions with our guests is to live by the principle that, “We are not here for ourselves. We are here to love and serve others.”
